The Beginnings of Here Tomorrow Joe Kenney felt powerless when his son, Gary, was despondent. Gary fought his depression by isolating his sole friend—his father. Although Joe had a wide network from his successful business career, he discovered that mental health resources were greatly insufficient. "I wasn't able to locate any assistance here." I was unsure of where to head or what action to take, and I am familiar with everyone. “How is the typical individual meant to seek assistance?” he inquired. In April 2019, Gary took his own life. Heartbroken yet resolute, Joe vowed at Gary's funeral to build something that would stop others from enduring the same sorrow. By April 2021, Joe's dream materialized.
